What is Calisthenics 

Calisthenics is a form of resistance training using your Bodyweight as the main form of resistance. And little or no equipment, which makes it a functional effective way to train. This method of training dates back many years and is used by Police and Military as examples, aspart of their training programs. Calisthenics will allow you to build great Strength levels, improve your Core, Posture and Mobility. As well as the option of working towards several different signature holds.

How does it work

Everyone has the potential to master their own Bodyweight, whatever your shape or size. It’s about having a structure and doing the right things and doing them properly. 
Once you get started there is the potential to work towards endless goals, like Handstands, The Human Flag or even goals like achieving a set number of Pull ups.

1-2-1 Coaching 

We work with everyone as an individual and create a training plan for you to work from alongside your 1-2-1 Session. 1-2-1 sessions are important for anyone who is serious about progressing in Calisthenics. As we can teach you all you need to know from the beginning. We always carry out an assessment on New clients to see what their body can do, then throughout your training with us, there will be various assessments to make sure you’re progressing. These assessments fall into a grading process, which allows Clients the chance to progress their skills and levels.
Online Group Training is also an option available, this is where several individuals are all provided with content to work on from a distance. Whilst having weekly check ins and access to a private online Coaching portal for group members only. Where feedback and group support will be available.

Classes

We provide weekly Classes in Wolverhampton, that don’t require a gym membership! These classes are designed to help people get started and continue their progress in Calisthenics. We don’t work on skills in the classes, we focus on Fitness, Form, Strength, Mobility and Core. All of which will help you when you do come to do skills and technique training at our Workshops.

Workshops 

Our Fit Fast Calisthenics Workshops are a great opportunity for beginners to come and begin their Calisthenics Skill Journey. Our Workshops are focused on skills like Handstands and the Flag to name a couple. We focus on 1 skill in each workshop, which allows us to teach you everything you need to know and more. After the Workshop we then provide you with feedback and content for you to keep working on the skill set at your own pace. The next step is then Progressions, once you have done the beginners workshop, you can advance into the progressions workshop for that skill. All abilities are welcome at our Workshops!!
